Hydraulic dynamometer

Engine Test Equipment

The amount of brake load is proportional to the amount of fluid entering the dynamometer, which is controlled using the inlet valve. The absorbed force increases the temperature of the cooling fluid water. The maximum allowable water temperature at the exit of the dynamometer is 70 degrees.
In fact, the dynamometer functions like a broken water pump that replaces the input force with heated water.
The rotor rotation speed is measured using an induction sensor inside the dynamometer, and the amount of absorbed power is calculated from the product of torque and speed.
The characteristic curve of the dynamometer at different speeds is as follows.
The display panel of this device is touch-type and in addition to entering the required information, it has the ability to display and store information.
In addition to simultaneously displaying dynamometer information, the device is also equipped with an engine oil pressure sensor and an exhaust temperature sensor.
If more information is needed and based on customer request, it has the ability to install data recording cards and display other information.
If the customer does not use the software, it is possible to record information in the device’s external memory, and this information can be displayed on the computer and ready for further analysis.

Advantages of the device:

This type of dynamometer can be manufactured with a power of 40 kW and above, and Dina Powertrain Development Company has designed and manufactured hydraulic dynamometers in two sizes: 7 and 13 inches. The technical specifications of the dynamometers are presented below.
